Starting April 20, Bitesize began publishing daily lessons to help students across the UK with homeschooling while schools are closed. Each lesson is divided into groups from 1 to 10 years old in England, and the equivalent in Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
The daily content also includes 20-minute programs so that students and their parents can create a study plan for the day. Through television, the 20-minute classes will cover different age groups and different topics, including music and art. A total of 150 new lessons are published on BBC Bitesize every week, so there is plenty of new content for children of all ages to enjoy. BBC Sounds has also presented a daily 10-minute podcast aimed at primary and secondary school children to support their learning.
BBC Bitesize Daily is a new at-home learning tool that offers 14 weeks of curriculum-based learning for children across the UK. BBC Bitesize offers young students video lessons, interactive media and quizzes on a wide range of topics. From Monday to Friday, families can watch Bitesize Daily on the BBC Red Button between 9am and 11am, and the content will be available on iPlayer. As you know, some topics are too time-consuming, but BBC Bitesize makes it very simple, you can watch simple videos that cover topics that are difficult to understand easily.
The BBC Sounds page can be accessed via the BBC website, or there is an app that is available for download. All BBC Bitesize content, whether it is Study Guide content on the web or in the app, or Flashcards in the app, is created by specific experts from the exam board in the relevant curriculum field. If you have a little more free time, you can access the BBC Bitesize review guides from the website, optimized for your mobile phone. BBC Bitesize is available for iOS (iPad and iPhone) and for Android devices, as well as on desktop computers (PCs, laptops and Macs).
BBC Bitesize is a free review resource for students aged 5 to 16 and over in a wide range of school subjects.
